Robbers ransack Insight Newspaper office, Kwesi Pratt confirms

Robbers have ransacked the office of the Insight Newspaper, taking away some items.

Confirming the incidence to Kojo Dickson on Angel FM’s Midday news, closely monitored by Ghanasonline, Kwesi Pratt Jnr. said they took his laptop and phone away.

“They broke our office main door, entered and broke into my office too. They took my laptop and phone”, he said.

He explained “there’s no secret on his phone and laptop” so there’s no cause for alarm.

What is his concern is the cost the destroyed locks would cost him.

When asked if he had informed the police, he indicated ” there’s no need to do so because the police cannot help in any way.”

“What has happened to Ahmed Suale who was murdered? And you want me to report a mere breaking of my office lock”, he quizzed.

The veteran journalist furthered the robbers “knew what they were doing so they blocked the CCTV cameras before undertaking the operation”.
