Weija Gbawe constituency Coordinators of opposition National Democratic Congress are up in arms with their parliamentary candidate, Cleland Ayaa Ayison.
The Coordinators have stagged a mammoth demonstration against their candidate saying he must be changed.
On Angel FM’s midday news on Thursday, August 20, 2020, closely monitored by Ghanasonline, they said their candidate doesn’t go out to campaign and they don’t think he can match their opponent.
“We don’t want him again. We can’t win with him”, they told Angel FM’s Odehyie Kwaku Asiedu who was on the grounds with them.

Mr. Ayison is set to battle for the Weija Gbawe seat with NPP’s Tina Mensah in the December 2020 polls.
When asked if they weren’t the ones that voted for him, they said they did because they saw him as a winnable candidate until “he decided to stay indoors and sleep instead of going out to campaign”.
