How to treat snake bite traditionally without attending the hospital

Snake bite has killed many people due to the venom it injects on people after biting them.

When a snake bites someone, the venom climbs into the person’s body, attacks the system and kills the person either instantly or within some few days depending on the severity of the issue.

Normally, the body part that suffers the bite turns dark within few hours after the bite.

But in all of these, there are simple traditional remedies that can be undertaken to overcome these dangerous consequences and subsequently save lives.

Now these are what you need to do.

When you are bitten by a snake, firstly get a rope, or anything you can use to tie your body. It could be a cloth or even your own clothes if there’s nothing available at that point in time.

Tie your leg a few distance from where the bite occured at two points so that the bitten spot would be in the middle of the rope.

This will prevent the venom from spreading to either part or direction of the body depending on where the bite occurred, to contaminate the remaining unaffected parts of the body.

After tying, chew cola nut and place it on the bitten spot and leave it for about half an hour.

The cola nut will absorb all the venom that’s inside the body.

Alternatively, if cola nut is not available, chew cassava leaves, swallow some of the water inside, and place some on the bitten spot just as the cola nut.

It’ll will equally absorb the venom from the body, and what remains is the cut that must be treated like how an ordinary wound is treated.
