But when the family returned to the morgue on Friday with the intention of getting Ophelia’s body embalmed, they were met with the shocking news that she had come back to life.
“When we got to the mortuary around 6:00am, we were told my wife had been sent to the casualty because she has come back to life,” the lady’s husband, Robert Donkoh, told Angel FM’s Western Regional Correspondent, Nana Fynn.
Mr. Donkoh explained the mortuary attendant on duty told him, he saw Ophelia sitting in the midst of the dead bodies while going to prepare some bodies for embalmment.
Upon seeing her, the attendant organised for a stretcher to convey her back to the casualty ward.
After learning of the development, the family, with their mixed feelings of excitement and shock, rushed to the casualty ward to see Ophelia alive and put on oxygen.
