Residents of Kpaguri in the Wa Municipality of the Upper West Region are living in fear and worry after discovering a decomposing partially buried body in their vicinity.
The remains was found behind a storey building opposite the main entrance of the Wa Technical SHS along the Technical University route.
Reports indicate the body was found after the foot was pulled out by dogs.
The residents are worried because the decomposing body has polluted the air making it difficult for them to breath.

According to them, they reported the incident to the police who came to cover the part of the body that was showing. Even though the residents say the police promised to return and exhume the body the next day to the morgue for further investigations, they have since not heard from them.
The Wa Police Command, per our sources have informed the Environmental Health Unit of the Municipality to handle the issue but have remained adamant.
