A 32-year-old trader, Esi Arthur has been arrested by the Agona Swedru District Police Command for allegedly killing her husband at Gomoa Akropong in the Central Region.
The deceased, 44-year-old Francis Anthony was accused of cheating by the wife.
Adom News’ Seth Kofi Adjei’s report monitored by Ghanasonline.com indicate the deceased’s father, Ebenezer Anthony Nyansor said his in-law hit his son’s head with a 4/4 wood twice, killing him instantly.
Mr. Nyansor added that, his in-law had consistently averred her intentions of killing his son for defiling their matrimonial home.
“Ebenezer Nyansor revealed that, his In-law was consistently saying that she will kill his son for giving birth outside but they thought it was a joke until it came to reality,” Kofi Adjei narrated.
Meanwhile, the victim’s younger brothers, friends and the entire family have besieged the Agona Swedru District Police Command demanding the release of the suspect to lynch her.
