Besiktas football academy participate in Norway Cup 2025
Besiktas football academy, a local football club in Ayawaso east municipal, specifically Nima is representing Ghana in this year’s Norway cup currently happening in Norway.
Besiktas Football Academy which is Nima based community football club left Accra last week to participate in the tournament with the aim of providing exposure to the young talents and making a case for Ghanaian football academy clubs on the international stage.
Mr. Aminu Mohammed Dauda Lenient, who is leading the delegation disclosed that the delegation to Norway is made of 5 officials and twenty(20) under 12 players who are very talented players most of whom are from poor financial backgrounds.
Mr. Aminu, disclosed to Ghanasonline.com in an interview that he is very satisfied with the performance of his technical team and players, and is hopeful the tournament will help nurture more players like Kudus and Mohammed Polo who started their careers in similar circumstances and locality as these young players.
The Ghanaian academy football team topped their group 14, with 7 points out of 9 available points and will play in the Round of 16.
The tournament which started on 26th July, 2025 is expected to end Saturday 2nd August 2025.
