Siaw Agyepong wins ‘Entrepreneur of the Decade’ at Ghana Business Awards
The third edition of the Ghana Business Awards has named Founder and Executive Chairman of the Jospong Group of Companies, Joseph Siaw Agyepong “Entrepreneur of the Decade”.
The award was in recognition of his contribution to Business and Development in Ghana and Africa through his companies and various innovative collaborations with the government and private sector.
Organised under the theme, “Impact of Covid-19 on Businesses”, the event brought together industry players Entrepreneurs, Diplomats, Professionals, Politicians and Celebrities across the continent.
Receiving the award on behalf of the Executive Chairman, Chief Operating Officer of the Jospong Group of Companies, Samanjith Udumalagala, expressed delight for the recognition granted the JGC for its contribution to Ghana’s development.
He lauded Mr. Siaw Agyepong for his exemplary leadership, which he said was worth emulating.
Mr. Udumalagala further expressed the need to support local entrepreneurs who are passionate to support the nation’s developmental agenda, through Ghanas sustainable development initiatives.
Other awards won by the Group on the night were Zoomlion winning “Sanitation Company of the Year” with their MD, Florence Larbi being crowned “Personality of the Year”
