Woman thrashes son of witchcraft, threatens to kill him
A 32-year-old woman has beaten her 13-year-old son at Gomoa Liberia Camp in the Central region because she says the boy is a wizard.
The boy who appears to be subjected to occasional merciless beatings was rescued by neighbours.
Speaking on Angel FM’s news, the poor boy indicated “she [his mother] sent me to withdraw money for her and gave me her phone. The Sim was shaking and I gave it to the Mobile Money vendor to fix it. When I was returning, the phone fell and went off. When I got home, she started beating me.”
“My mother said I should dispose off my wizardly else she’ll kill and throw me into a stream behind our house”, he continued.

According to investigations, a man of God told the woman the son is a wizard and turns to snake at night.
This according to the woman is the reason she has not succeeded in life.
Also, the mother has indicated the boy scratches the teeth when he sleeps, which confirms his wizardly.
Speaking to the Assemblyman of Gomoa Liberia Camp, he confirmed the incident as well as the woman’s threats to kill her son.
“I was informed of the issue in the afternoon and has handed the woman over to the Awutu Breku Police Command to further investigations on the matter”, he said.
