Bono Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe Adjei, aka Abronye DC has revealed how he wanted to physically assault Asiedu Nketia.
In an interview monitored by Ghanasonline on Angel FM, Abronye said if the General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, aka General Mosquito had not taken to his heels, “I would have finished him” at Banda Ahenkro.
His comments come from allegations by General Mosquito, doubting the nationality of Abronye DC.
In an audio played on the news, General is heard alleging Abronye is a foreigner who has been adopted by Nana Obiri Boahen as his nephew.

Therefore, he Abronye should have been prevented from registering instead of the people they [NPP] are claiming are foreigners.
“He is from Lobe and came to reside at Odomase village and Obiri Boahen has taken him as his nephew”, General said.
Some misunderstanding came up at Banda Ahenkro in the Bono region of Ghana over the nationality of some people partaking in the Electoral Commission’s Voters’ registration exercise.
Videos of General Mosquito, some people in a Kia truck and some military men impeding the process for the bused people.
These according to General are legitimate citizens who have every right to register but are being denied their rights by Prez Akufo-Addo and his thugs, tagging them as foreigners.
It is based on this that General Mosquito revealed Abronye is a foreigner which he [Abronye] said he would have beaten mercilessly had he met him at the centre
