My competitors are empty of ideas – Afenyo-Markin

The Member of Parliament for Effutu, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, has said his competitors are empty in terms of ideas.

He says when it comes to competing knowledge in forestalling development, his opponents have nothing to show.

The MP made the pronouncements during the inauguration of the Atekyedo Community Library, which is part of his “Effutu Dream” project.

Speaking at the event, the vociferous Legislator touted, “as for me, what I know is that those who have made up their mind to contest me, if they stand shoulder to shoulder with me, they will fall.”

“They have no ideas. When it comes to competing ideas, with all due respect, they are empty. They have nothing to show”, he continued.

He elucidated how his various community projects exemplifies his endowment in ideas and experience.

Afenyo-Markin further asserted his leadership prowess is incomparable to any of his opponents.

Sharing his experience with the gathering, he indicated his competitors “have not been in leadership before.”

Meanwhile, “I have been an Assemblyman, served at the grassroots, a Presiding Member. I’ve gone through the stages in leadership, so when I talk, I know the talk and I do the do.”

“Through the training, I understand the issues. That is why when we met at Ansaful I said, I can never give you silver nor gold. What I can give you is the basic basic needs”, he averred.

The law maker explained to his constituents, how the basic needs he provides them are the priorities they deserve to make their lives comfortable.
