Man commits suicide after killing 85-year-old woman
A 25-year-old Kweku Johnson who murdered an 85-year-old woman in Kumasi has committed suicide.
The incident happened at Tanoso, a suburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti region.
Reports indicate the young man pounded the old woman with cement blocks after allegedly smoking some packets of weed.
The woman tried advising him to quit an awkward act he was putting up in the house which resulted in him turning against her.
According Angel FM’s Ashanti Regional correspondent, Osei Kwadwo, Kweku injured himself with a cutlass after realising the law will take hold of him for what he did.

Mr. Johnson cut his stomach and part of his intestines came out before the police arrived to send him to hospital.
He died at the hospital yesterday according to the reporter.
Some residents wanted to beat him yesterday but were set aback when they saw the state he was in after having his intestines out.
Also, the residents were so angry they couldn’t deal with him themselves.
They rained all forms of curses on him after commuting suicide to suffer even in his death.

Meanwhile, family of the 85-year-old woman are making preparations for her burial.
Since she is Muslim, they are signing all documents at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for her internment.
