Tracking gov’t promises; Mahama lacks understanding of our strategy – Bawumia

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has said the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has delivered or in the process of delivering 80 per cent of the promises they made prior to the 2016 elections.

He says this is consistent with their manifesto delivery tracker since they are not claiming all 80 per cent have been completed.

Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen with Philip Osei Bonsu, keenly monitored by Ghanasonline, Dr. Bawumia said government’s major projects like the One Village One Dam are in progress.

He says the Pwalugu dam project is also in fruition to curb the the annual spillage from Burkina Faso.

The Veep said his tour to the Northern part of the country shows the NPP is massively delivering on its promises to Ghanaians.

However, John Mahama’s claim to not seeing the dams in Northern Ghana shows he lacks understanding of the NPP’s strategy.

He reiterated the Pwalugu Dam project as the signature project of the NPP in the north and the largest project since independence.

He said that project has been in the books of Ghana since independence, and it’s the NPP government that has seen it implemented.
