Akufo-Addo asks Ghanaians for four more years to make Ghana better

President Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has asked Ghanaians to trust him and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to lead Ghana into progress and prosperity.

Nana Addo said the many achievements of his government in the last four years are clear indications of his commitment to developing the country.

Speaking at a rally in Hohoe to wrap up his tour of the Volta Region, he indicated he had performed better and wants his mandate renewed in December.

“If I have stood by my commitment. If I have remained faithful to you then you can look at me as a man of integrity. A man who keeps his promises. A man who fulfils his promises to the people of Ghana. You can trust me that the next four years is going to be even better than the four years we have gone through. I will not make any promises to you that I cannot fulfil. I will never do that.”

Meanwhile the National Organizer of the NPP, Sammi Awuku has cautioned Ghanaians against voting for the NDC and John Mahama in the general elections.

“On the ballot paper, December 7 is a choice between prosperity and poverty. It will be a choice between competence and incompetence. It will be a choice between Ghana’s future and Ghana’s backwardness.”

In a related development, the President will today begin a two-day campaign tour of the of the Eastern Region. The President will be in Nkwakwa, Koforidua, Osina, Fanteakwa, Aburi and Akropong.
