Taxi driver allegedly kills girlfriend, locks body in room for three days at Ablekuma
A taxi driver by name Kofi Aboagye has allegedly killed his girlfriend and locked the body in a room for three days at Ablekuma in the Greater Accra region.
According to Angel FM’s Eugene Osei Barima, the duo have three kids, made up of a one and a half-year-old set of twins, who are a boy and a girl, and another little baby.
Ghanasonline.com monitoring of the report revealed Mr. Aboagye took the kids to his mother and informed her “the wife has gone to market and he’s also going to work so the mother should take care of the kids until they return.”
Unknowingly, Eugene reported the state of the body when the room was broken into indicated he [Kofi Aboagye] had squeezed the neck of his girlfriend, hit the head with an object in her naked state.

He continued that, Kofi locked the girlfriend in the room after she died and fled.
Speaking with the mother of victim, she noted preparations are underway for the two to get married as the family has yet presented a list to the man to come and perform the marital rites.
Due to that, the daughter has been visiting home intermittently.
Even though the mother revealed she wanted to rescind her decision to give off their daughter to the man due to certain traits he exhibit sometimes. However, the family considered the kids in the relationship to approve the union between the two.
She added “the man’s mother came here to search for the man and when we said he’s not here, we went to break into the door and saw my daughter.”
Meanwhile, the victim’s brother also told Angel News “my mom called me they haven’t seen her about three days now so I should call her. The guy is not of bad behaviour likewise my sister. They’re all calm people. He occassionally complains to me about my sister and I advise them.
He said he wanted to see me about three weeks ago and I asked him rather to come over. After that I haven’t seen him again until I heard this.”
The police are currently investigating the matter.
