Breaking: Captain Smart on way out to Metro TV after suspension from ABN
Ghanasonline.com can confirm that Ace broadcast journalist, Blessed Godsbrain Smart will join Metro TV following his suspension from the Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN).
Captain Smart, who prior to his suspension this morning, May 6, 2021, was host of the Angel Morning Show, Anɔpa Bɔfoɔ, was suspended for criticising the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) government.
After a surprised birthday celebration for him by his colleagues and followers on the show a day earlier, the Fabɛwɔso man was off air today for the above mentioned reason.
The information, which was released by IMANI’s Founder and President, Franklin Cudjoe, was confirmed by General Manager of Angel FM, Kojo Dickson, on the station’s midday bulletin, emphasing Smart was suspended for attacking personalities in government but not because he criticised the government as a whole.
Smart, who is known for castigating authorities for corrupt activities and poor governance through his Fabɛwɔso and newly introduced Anɔpa Gya segments cannot be left out when the fight against corruption is mentioned.
He will be appearing on Metro TV’s “Good Evening Ghana” tonight to speak more about his suspension and fight against corruption with Paul Adom-Otchere.
