[Photos] London: Ghanaians in UK embark on #FixTheCountry demo; NPP loyalists counter with gov’t’s achievements
Ghanaians in the United Kingdom (UK) have stagged their version of the #FixTheCountry protest in the British capital,London.
On Friday, July 30, 2021, the Ghanaian nationals residing in the Queen’s city stormed the Ghana High Commission and presented their petition to them.
After displaying various placards expressing their request from leadership, they believe authorites will respond to their call by fixing Ghana to make their motherland a better place.
Meanwhile, some NPP folks in London also countered the demands of the protesters by telling them how the current government is fixing the economy.
They also displayed placards detailing some interventions the Akufo-Addo led government has put in place to assuage the plight of Ghanaians.
Ghana’s version of the protest comes off Wednesday, August 4, 2021.
