[VIDEO] GES removes KNUST SHS Assistant Headmaster for allegedly fondling female student
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has removed the Assistant Headmaster of KNUST SHS, following a viral video on social media showing him and a female student in a compromised position.
The Service, has in a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of GES, Daniel Fenyi on Monday, September 29, 2025, said “Management views this mater with utmost seriousness.”
“In line with our commitment to safeguarding the integrity of the teaching profession and ensuring the safety and welfare of students under our care, Mr. Aidoo has already been removed from office, and prohibited from going to the school while thorough investigations are being carried out,” the statement indicated.
Adding that the GES is committed to upholding the highest standards of professionalism, discipline and protecting all children under their care, it assured the “general public, stakeholders, parents, and students that due process will be followed, and the appropriate disciplinary action will be taken in accordance with the code of conduct of the Ghana Education Service.”
The release further condemned any acts that compromise the safety, dignity, and wellbeing of students.
