26-year-old murders her day-old baby at Breman Asikuma

A-26-year old woman, Esi Dora, has killed her day old baby at Breman Amanda at the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa district in the Central region.

Reports indicate she repeatedly hit the baby’s head on a palm tree till she died.

According to her mother, Auntie Efe, this is the second time she is doing this after throwing her one of her kids in a toilet and getting rescued upon the earlier detection of someone who was visiting the toilet.

The mother who spoke on Angel News said when the daughter returned home in the morning with a flat tummy without a baby, they followed up and found out she has killed the baby.

Meanwhile, Dora said the baby was dead when she gave birth.

“Nothing prompted me to throw her away. Life is difficult because I have three kids and that’s why I threw this one away when she died”, the victim stated.

Unit Committee Chairman of Asikuma Amanda, Mr Sarpong said “I was home when I was informed of the issue and I saw the dead baby with blood all over her.”

“We’ve informed the Breman Asikuma police to investigate the issue”, he added.
