One shot dead after trying to snatch ballot box
News coming in indicate that one person has been shot dead in the Awutu Senya West constituency in the Central Region.
The person whose name has been withheld was allegedly shot for trying to snatch a ballot box at a polling station in the constituency.
According to Angel FM’s Odehyie Kwaku Asiedu, there were about ten people in number who were chanting “chooboi” at the centre in an attempt to snatch the box.
He says one of the security men who was not in uniform pulled a pistol and shot the man.
