Is Captain Smart leaving Angel FM after accepting Multimedia's Lexus, cheque?

The Multimedia Group Limited (MGL) is yet to relent on the pressure being exerted on their former employee, Blessed Godsbrain Smart to rejoin them.

Captain Smart, as he is known on air, is former host of Dwaso Nsɛm, the morning show at Adom FM, aside an evening programme, Big Agenda, which is aired on Adom TV, all subsidiaries of the MGL.

Barely a forth night ago, Ghanas Online reported of the media giant’s intention to get Captain Smart back on their airwaves due to dwindled audience and fall in revenue after his exit.

The move has intensified afterwards with MGL dropping a 2018 model Lexus at the residence of Angel FM’s Anɔpa Bɔfoɔ host.

We are reliably informed that he was supposed to resume on Angel FM/TV tomorrow but the Multimedia offer may influence his resumption.

What makes the development interesting according to Ghanas Online sources is that, Mr. Smart demanded for a 2019 model of the vehicle instead of the 2018 model sent to him.

Without much hesitation, Multimedia delivered a brand new ‘tear rubber’ 2019 Lexus to the controversial morning show host to use for some few days to show their readiness to get him behind their microphone.

After requesting for his preferred model of the prize being offered for his move, the question that remains unanswered is whether Multimedia has succeeded in poaching back Captain Smart, whom our sources earlier indicated his move was highly impossible.

Additionally, an undisclosed cheque has also been presented to his table as we hinted in our last write up, where details are still being gathered to be published later.

When Ghanas Online approached Captain Smart for his comments on the development, he declined to comment.
