‘A soldier in Gabon has asked the president to step down, another coup lingers; ask Nana Addo if I’m lying’ – Captain Smart

Controversial Broadcaster, Captain Smart has charged president Akufo-Addo to come out and deny as ECOWAS chair if Gabon’s president has not been asked to step down.

He said “a military officer has told the Gabon president to step down peacefully” and Ghanaians who doubt can “call the ECOWAS Chair, Nana Addo and ask him if I’m lying.”

On the Onua TV/FM’s ‘Maakye’ which he hosts, he further alleged some people have been taken hostage in Nigeria with the rebels demanding the resignation of Buhari before releasing the them.

“20 people have been kidnapped in Nigeria and they say Buhari must step down before they release them,” he added.

The reason for the recent uprisings on the continent he assumed is as a result of hunger due to “African leaders being a league of old men with empty brains” as posited by the Guinean coup leader, Mamady Doumbouya.

“Today, Africans are hungry and the reason Doumbouya said African leaders are a league of old men with empty brains”

Asking president Akufo-Addo who doubles as chair of the ECOWAS if he is happy with recent developments in Nigeria, Mr. Smart opined not all old men have empty brains, however, the actions of some old men on the continent justifies Doumbouya’s assertion.

“Nana Addo, ask yourself if you’re happy deep down your heart with what’s going on in Nigeria. The old men in Africa have demonstrated there is truth in what Doumbouya said about the league of old men without brains ruling Africa. It doesn’t really mean when someone is old, they have no brains. There are old men with refined brains,” he said.
