[VIDEO] Watch how Moroccans celebrated their historic FIFA World Cup semi-final feat

The city of Casablanca, the Moroccan capital, just as could be imagined from the entire country was a sight to behold after the Atlas Lions defeated the Portuguese national team.

This makes Morocco the first national team to reach the semi-final of the FIFA World Cup outside Europe and South America.

They were the fourth African nation to make the quarter finals of the tournament after Cameroon paved the way for Senegal and Ghana to follow respectively.

Ghana after becoming the closest to attain this feat after Dominic Adiyiah’s goal-bound shot was stopped by Luis Suarez with his hand with the Black Stars skipper, Asamoah Gyan missing the spot kick and subsequently being eliminated in a penalty shootout by Uruguay.

The north Africans will be meeting the winner between England and France who clash later tonight.
