Robbers shoot and kill Mfantseman MP
The Member of Parliament for the Mfantseman Constituency, Ekow Quansah Hayford has reportedly been shot dead.
Reports indicate he was shot on the Abeadze Dominase – Abeadze Duadzi – Mankessim Road on his return from a campaign trip.
He is believed to have been attacked at about 1:00 am Friday morning by 6 armed highway robbers.

The legislator revealed his identity to the robbers while the robbery was ongoing, and this according to an eye witness account infuriated the robbers who shot him in the process, saying they [MPs] are the cause of Ghana’s problems.
He died after they shot him twice.
The robbers are currently at large.
