Asabee congratulates SHC Boss for winning ‘CEO of the Year’
The State Interests and Governance Authority (SIGA) has congratulated the Managing Director of the State Housing Company (SHC), Kwabena Ampofo Appiah, following his honour as “The Best CEO – 2021”.
In a release signed by the Corporate Affairs Directorate, Director-General of SIGA, Stephen Asamoah Boateng, lauded the feat chalked by the SHC MD saying Mr. Appiah deserves commendation, considering the transformation the company has seen under his administration.
The honour was conferred on Mr. Ampofo Appiah by the Trades Union Congress (TUC), making the SIGA D-G applaud him for making SHC profitable, aside revamping it to attain its appellation as the “Nation’s number one builder” and reducing the housing deficit in the country.
He added that, “Mr. Ampofo Appiah’s exemplary leadership will go a long way to positively impact the Authority’s efforts at redefining corporate governance in the public sector as we know it.”
